Workshops and Conference Presentations
GEMS’ facilitates workshops to assist agencies in acquiring and integrating knowledge about CSEC and domestic trafficking into their organization. GEMS facilitates discussion to raise awareness about CSEC and domestic trafficking and how these issues relate to outside organization/clients. One to four hour sessions focus on specific issues related to CSEC and domestic trafficking, including the identification of CSE youth, engagement/outreach, or use of motivational interviewing with CSEC and domestic trafficking victims.
We are happy to help you create a workshop that fits your needs.
Who does GEMS conduct workshops for? Social service agencies, child welfare agencies, detention for youth facilities, runaway/homeless youth organizations, youth transitional housing programs, drop-in centers serving street-involved youth, rape and sexual assault service and medical providers, and community health programs
GEMS’ is available to conduct workshops and present at conferences on issues related to our direct services specifically and issues related to CSEC or survivor leadership in general.
