Zuleika Muñoz

Development Associate

As GEMS’ Development Associate, Zuleika Muñoz is responsible for processing online and in-kind donations. Zuleika also assists the development team on fundraising and grant seeking initiatives.

Before joining GEMS, Zuleika worked for Basics Housing as a Case Manager assisting homeless families on their path to permanent housing. Zuleika is an advocate of woman’s economic and social empowerment and has conducted research on the economic roles of women in Vietnam, Thailand, and the United States. Zuleika is dedicated to improving the socioeconomic conditions of women in her community and globally.

Zuleika earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Gender Women’s Studies from Connecticut College. She is currently working toward a Master’s in Public Administration at The City College of New York with a specialization in Urban Development.
