Deanna Green

Training Manager

As GEMS’ Training Manager, Deanna Green is responsible for all training and technical assistance requests that the agency receives. Deanna corresponds with law enforcement, social service organizations, and other service providers to facilitate implementations in their programs to improve how they serve victims of commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking.

Prior to coming to GEMS, Deanna was employed in National Urban League’s housing and community development department. While there, she managed their federal contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which included several national training events, in an effort to calm the housing markets in urban communities and reduce foreclosures across the country.

In 2008, Deanna received her Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University in Chemistry. As an active tutor, she is committed to enhancing educational services provided to urban youth.
