Anne Yearwood
Transitional Independent Living Senior Residential Manager
As Senior Residential Coordinator, Anne Yearwood is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the GEMS Transitional Independent Living Program (TIL). Reporting to the Residential Director, she is responsible for the physical, emotional, social, professional, and academic development of TIL residents. She is also responsible for assigning tasks to TIL residential counselors, training new TIL staff, and monitoring GEMS staff compliance with all TIL policies and procedures.
Anne received a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s and Gender Studies from Georgetown University. Prior to working at GEMS, she was a Client Services Fellow at Polaris Project, working in their transitional residence with women aged 18 and over who were victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
