Anjoli Roy

Grants Coordinator

As GEMS’ grants coordinator, Anjoli Roy is responsible for developing and writing content for both programmatic and fundraising purposes.

Anjoli is committed to working for mission-drive organizations with special focuses on the rights of women, girls, and families. With a background in book and journal publishing, she has been a staff editor at Biography: An Interdisciplinary Quarterly, the Feminist Press at CUNY and their journal WSQ: Women’s Studies Quarterly, Mānoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing, the University of Hawai‘i’s Center on the Family, and Vice-Versa: Creative Works and Comments. She is a lecturer at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn and continues to edit on a freelance basis.

Anjoli earned her Master of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Her Bachelor of Arts comes from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study.
